sry could only find a painter named Hals, Frans (c.1580-1666) Portrait and genre painter, probably born in Antwerp, N Belgium

Yes I know him well. He did my living room last year. Great fella. Didn't spill a drop. Bought his own flask of tea and did a lovely line in magnolia.
