Should the interval of worldcup(football) be less than 4 yrs?

Would push out too many other competitions if it were more frequent. Besides, you'd really have to compress the qualifying rounds if it were 2 years apart (as qualifying in many parts of the world is spread out over 2 years).

maybe 2 years?

It keeps us waiting and wishing to see it all 4 years it is a quite long time
