Walking is the best exercise around! Just get a nice pair of shoes to be kind to your feet...and then get moving! Other forms of exercise can be found all around you.

Don't park in the closest spot next to the grocery store. Park 100 ft away instead, and walk the extra few feet.

Don't use elevators...use the stairs!

When you get up from a chair or couch, sit back down, then get back up again. (Called a sit to stand) Yes, seems silly, but it will add in a little bit of exercise each day. At the end of the month, those little bits of exercise will add up!

And you DO NOT need and online personal trainer. Unless it is supervised, skilled personal training, don't pay for it. There are plenty of ways to get exercise utilizing your own mind and body. Just look around you! Start moving and start having fun!

Since it is summer, swimming is the best. It is also easiest on your muscles if you haven't had much exercise. A nice way to begin working out. I had back surgery in October, and was worried about excercise, but I have been swimming a few times, and I feel great when I'm in the water. Weightless is good. I know it is hard when you have kids and maybe are swinging a job to boot. Not that the kids aren't a full time job, but you have got to set some time for yourself. You will be a better Mom for it. Good luck sister.

i am a mom of four and trying to find the time for exercise is hard,i have been trying to reorganize my life and home as well,i have found help. look up flylady.com. trust me she is a big help in my life,my house looks better,i have lost 5lbs in the last week and a half with her help and her routines. my favorite motto of hers is " you can do anything for 15 minutes".and if you need that time alone away from the kids try to work it out with your spouse to either watch the kids for 15 minutes or however long you need to go out and walk, or for him to take the kids to the park while you do a workout video, that way not only do you get a few minutes to yourself but you are also blessing yourself with 15 minutes of loving movement. hope things get better and good luck on the exercise.

Chasing your kids inside on rainy days, walking and swimming. Take it slow! I hate to exercise, I bought a tredmill, I use it, but its more fun running around the house chasing my son! =o) But only on rainy days! Don't forget to play with a frisbe outside, get the dog involved too, play catch with a really big big ball and most importantly don't forget to breathe a little sigh..at least your up and moving! Good Luck!

Start out by walking. Put the kid's in a stroller and go! When dad
gets home leave the kid's and go by yourself and free your mind
and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Walking! If not outdoors, then get a treadmill and use it indoors. Also, many women like Curves because it's only a 30-minute workout.
