Is it normal to have your eye lashes falling out on a daily basis? I mean one or two each day? I have a friend and she looses one or two eye lashes almost every day. New ones are growing back but is this normal?

We all lose our eyelashes as new ones are growing in. That your friend see's her's is what is amazing! Seldom do we see ours as they fall out. It happens as we sleep, work, swim; go about our normal day and we never see them.

As long as her eyelashes are replenishing at a rate to equal what is falling out, then this would be normal.

A well balanced diet and not using excessive eye makeup is another plus. Over using eyelash curlers and mascaras will cause them to fall out too fast. As will a lack of vitamins.

I would book an appointment straight away with your local GP or go to the local hospital immediatley to get checked out. They will be able to arrange for an ultrasound to see whether the baby is still okay and arrange two blood tests to check your hormone levels (to make sure they are still rising). I had this in my second pregnancy at 8 weeks and at 14 weeks, and it ended up being because my placenta wasn't connected to the uterus wall correctly. Each time I bled, it was after fast walking, over exhaustion or sex. I avoided all three til I had my scan at 20 weeks, and the placenta ended up fixing itself. I am now 37 weeks pregnant with all well. Good luck!

yes, of course. Eyelashes fall out on a daily basis as new ones come in. Eyelashes regrow and fall out in 6 week cycles.
