I am involved with many functions and meet a lot of people. I do my best to put a face with a name. Have you ever met someone and consistently interacted with them, yet they can't remember your name? Now, you can remember their name, but they can't remember yours. Doesn't that drive you crazy? It get's to me. Maybe it's a humbling thing....but man.....I remember your name, why can't you remember mine? Oh well........

My teachers always called me either Victoria or Jessica for some reason. I would be around them everyday but they still wouldn't remember. That drove me nuts.

It happened to me all the time after I lost 40 pounds, years ago. I really enjoyed the invisiblity factor. I got to walk right by not so favorite people without the OH HOW ARE YOU SWEETIE interactions...

But in your case, just keep using their name, adn they will probably go off and say what is that guy's name?He knows mine, and I cannot remember his!!!!! You are just smarter than they are, now use it to your advantage!!!

Everyone's mind retains information differently. They may not ever remember your name, but if you go about it in a friendly fashion by shaking hands, stating your name and in a friendly way say I'm Joe smith good to work with you again. No accusing angry tones, just non challantly go about your business like nothing was wrong. Be polite and respectful. Everyone is different.
