Try a Brita filter for drinking water - they aren't too expensive and seem to work pretty well. You're not adding softener salt to the cold water are you? Just the hot?

your well is probably on a sulphur bed ,there is no way to completely rid you self of the problem.but there are a few things that will help.but first you need to take a water sample and take it to be tested,to make sure what it is.my family and i grew up on our well that smelled bad,we always use to go to the well pump and pour a gallon of bleach down in the well and let it sit without using the water for about an hour then , run a water hose watering you yard for a bout 15 min.- 45 mins. until the bleach gets mixed in all through the well.we use to do that about every other week! it helped. also you can buy filter systems for the pump and put filters on your sinks.and that helps too!

You could invest in a reverse osmosis machine. They are not cheap, but you will have good drinking water. You might be stuck with the smell though for the rest of your water that you use, especially hot water used for showers. My aunt had the same problem....I hated visiting because their water smelled so bad.

Well my parents have the same problem, but they found that a good water softener helps, but then they puchased a good filtration system. Only problem is they have to change filters on it quite often or the odors come back.

A charcoal filter may do the job for you. If it doesn't a reverse osmosis filter should do the job.
