only those who are able to be led .
i make my own choices based on my own criteria not what the media pushes remember there are limited choices in some areas .

I like 100% cotton clothing 95% of the time and synthetics for sports. I have found this to be from my experiance from trying different clothing and finding what works best for me.

i like brunetts not blonds-- free time not work-- freedom not money .

life is what you choose not what is choosen for you .

If you can not walk away from everything and not miss it you are in trouble to inter-dependent on things and people for happiness .this may seem anti-social and is to some extent if you have made the choice of family life you are bound by the decisions you made for 20 years and life is short so choose carfully early on or society will frown on your choice to walk away.
MOST of the time you will find that leaving everything behind is to much for a spouse or family to deal with and they prefer to remain in the stable life that surrounds them use to things being the same .These people are not really living life but doing as the are conditioned by society and media.
GO to work pay your bills on time and raise a family .Buy a house and put down roots so you are locked in to doing as you are told some people are never meant for this life the one sold to everyone by religion education political and social pressure. these poor people are the ones who can be led and told what to expect.
They have unfuffiled lives and dreams never realized.Ask a few people close to death if they had it to do again how many would do it the same way .
Those who where honest woould say yes i would do it different.
It is not till later in life you realize how much crap you have bought into and ignorance is bliss cause you never discover the truth .
You have to do what makes you the happiest regardless of what others tell you .So you tell me does the media tell you or do you buy into it never seeking your own path .

The vast majority of all media institutions are privately owned corporations with specific agendas and motivations. They depend upon their ability to influence what we think and do to move their agendas forward.

subtlly, yes. Without saying "believe this," "value this," or "like this," they are saying all of those things. Simply by putting out in hte news, advertisements, television progamming etc, what they deem valuable or acceptable, they are telling us what to like. Whether or not we have the moxy to forge through with our own beliefs or be strong enough to figure things out for ourselves is another matter entirely. We simply have to not accept blindly what is put before us, and trust our own discernment.
