No because before eyes of law all players are equal. So it was not an expected action by the board to let him go away scot-free only because he is a senior and elegant player

This generally happens with Indian cricketers because the world is jealous of them you must have noticed that even the great Steve Buckner ruled out Sachin lbw on several occasions they are severe on Indians that is proved by the fact that Virendra Sehwag is fined and Lara let off

Lara should be punished.
He should not be allowed to play cricket for 5 years.
He should not be allowed to act in add films forever.
He should be thrown out of Cricket field.
How can that ediot misbehave with the umpire to dismiss Dhoni(The star of Present world)
He is not punished because he is in his country. They r partial to Lara.

He should've been punished because Sehwag was punished in the same game for appealing, who took 4 wickets in the match

he shd have been punished. because when u r on field their is certain code of conduct tht is to be followed,.If sehwag was punished in the same match for appealing,than lara shd also be punished for misbehaving.he is damn egoistic!

Lara's stardom took the centreplace. Lara is a great player but nobody is above the game itself. he should have been reprimanded.

icc keeps double standards in verdicting.
sub-continant players harshly treated by icc.
if any sub-con. player committed that offence (which lara did), his future will be a 'Q' mark.

he should be punished, but the footage of his action somehow did not reach the third umpire as well as the referee.

Its not good for cricket. Its discrimination on basis of Asian v/s african. Rules shd b equal for all.
