No..I use the refill kits...works great and saves money

Oh yes, everyone is. That's how companies like Dell can afford to "give" you a printer. Of course, you're lucky if the printer will work long enough to use even one cartridge of ink.

i used to purchase third party cartridges on ebay, but after i found out that i could reset the chip on epson printers with a chip resetter, i could then refill cartridges

refilled cartridges are great! i only spend 1 dollar per color refill

Yep. That's why I've started refilling them myself. Basically, you cut the actual cost to about 25%. They refill well about 4x. After that, they get funky and gummy. Ink itself you can pick up for about $10-15. That's the best way to deal with it, I think.

It's the biggest ripoff there is. They give you a deal on the printer and then rape you on the ink refills.

more expensive than just buying a new printer here. SO thats what I do.
