Well, I'm a real teenager ... been there and back 5 times now, lol.

I find I learn a great deal from the kinds of questions people ask. Sometimes, when I have felt I could usefully answer, I have had some grateful responses, too.

I would hate to feel that, as an oldie, I was out of place in the teen section and, in many cases, it would be a shame to exclude teens from ... well, a non-teen section (hard to find the right word, there).

Why? I thought the point of this was diversity. I like that people from all ages, backgrounds and cultures can come on and answer my questions. . I think it's an excellent way of gaining a different perspective on a variety of different issues. If some people have been immature then it's there deal, but don't dis count all the other people who take the time to think about, and answer your questions. Because someone is young doesn't mean they don't have intelligence or for that matter, insight. I think people should stop being so serious about things and open themselves up to others, unbiasedly, without reservation for age, gender, background etc etc.
Even if you think otherwise, what does it harm you? Give people the chance to surprise you... whatever the age.

No Sir, I am running 59 but I like this system.I have learned many
things from teenagers questions & answers. Also they are able to
learn many things from experienced olderly people. Now a days
the teenagers are very updated, inteligent, knowledgeable & smart.
But they also need our experienced to fulfill their knowledge 100%.We should not think that we are more knowledgeable than
the teenagers.Same way the teenagers should not think that they
are more knowledgeable than the olderly people. So there should not
have a seperate section for teenagers.

i guess yes, there should be a separate section for teenagers, but still you can not control it, coz if i sign up here with an age of 80 no one would find out... besides, teenagers need the advice of older people... i agree that some of them ask silly questions but others have real questions that no one can help with except older people.

I am not a teenager, nor in my forties...it would be nice to have some kind of adult question /answer, but it would only be a matter of time before it would become bombarded with inapprorpiate questions from teens any way.

I think, there is no age on yahoo answer. Only few consider it. Age does not matter on yahoo. This makes all agers to fall in one category and discuss on every possible topic mutually. Otherwise, we all will be limited to only one kind of talk.

Why do you think 42 is old? (I know this is a question and not an answer).

We are all having fun... If you start shutting people out, then that is unfair... We all like to ask questions of people younger and older... Be a sport!!!
