Yes, I am fascinated by ancient civilizations.Even now I wonder how a common human being formed a society &then a civilisation.Then he create the division of labour .And the way in which the civilisations existed,I get amzed.I particularly like the mesopotamian &Indus Valley civilisation

Yeah i am fascinated by ancient civilisations. I have few lovely coffee table books giving valuable information. I get lost when reading this books! I will you all the best that you accomplish your desire to become archeologist.

I always was a bit of a history buff but more as a hobby rather than an occupation. I can understand why you would want to be an archeologist though. It would be fun to learn through hands on experience about the people who were here before us and to learn from them.

Delighted you are so interested in ancient civilizations, It is a fascinating subject, there are so many old civilizations that were lost to knowledge for so long and are only now being rediscovered and re-evaluated. It is an interest that will stay with you for the rest of your life and unlike so many young people these days you will never be bored or boring. There will always be some amazing fact or artefact to discover.

It's fascinating, but do we really know how far back civilisations go?
I've just read Legacy of the Gods by Robert Charroux, it's a bit kooky but some ideas do expand the imagination.

Ancient civilizations are most fascinating.Egyptian and Indus Valley Civilizations are most interesting.As far as archiology is concerened Indian is better.YOu can come to India and dig.Now they are under research of the route of a river called Saraswathi and civlizations on both sides of the river.This river is no more now.But many sites have been identified
