if you enetered into an agreement with a union you will have to live with it, if you keep violating the terms of that aggreement they can file unfair labor practices also bury you in grievances,
its much easier to just live to what you agreed to,,
the union could tie down your labor relations manager and your industrial relations guy,
you are not clear as to you are in the union or you are company wanting to do away with a union,

Unions have done very well by Police, Fire and EMS workers, also done well for the Airlines, Nurse's. State and County workers teachers and many other groups.
Any one person who is a union member can petition the Company and the Union to end the union/Company contract. Company's generally do not want the Contracts to end. Therefore asking them to terminate could be a waste of time.
