Where do you see that description in the Bible?
This is the closest thing to a physical description of Jesus in the Bible.
Revelations 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Revelations 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Revelations 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Why was the founder of Christianity Jewish?
I think you may find your answer lies somewhere in the fact that the Bible went through several translations before it eventually became the King James version as used in the UK. It seems that somewhere, this little point was lost the further away from the middle east the translations were made.
I'm not so certain about the blue eyes though. I never saw Christ as a Nazi.

Jesus was not described as white skinned and blue-eyed; at least, not in any sources I've ever heard of. Many European artistic representation of him frequently shows him as white with blue eyes, but not all; a lot show him with thick dark brown hair and dark eyes, (but yes, white skin). In South America a lot of representations of Jesus are black or hispanic looking, as are representations of Jesus in Africa. I think that societies just show Jesus as looking like themselves.

The painting of Jesus done in 1500s and 1600's were done by Europeans-mostly white Europeans, so they painted the Pictures of Jesus with European Features and colour.

Jesus was a jew. Jews are not dark skinned or dark haired. Look in the internet and see. They look a lot like arians. As far as I know, Jesus features were much like european. They have his impression on the cloth in which he was crucified and burried. Check at the vatikan site.

One of the primary ways early Christianity spread so rapidly was to adopt many of the cultural values of the people who were being prosyletized. This included representations of Jesus as having the physical characteristics of the people in question. Our Western society has largely arisen out of the Anglo-Saxon culture. Thus many of the representations of Jesus we see show him as having Anglo-Saxon physical characteristics.

Because it is the stereotypical view of jesus , the song My Jesus by Todd Agnew talks about how the world views Jesus in comparision to what he really was like , he wasn't glamourous or good looking he was probably very plain , it doesn't matter what he looked like it was what he did and will do again that sealed his name in history
