Gaming is a crazy competitive field -- there are many thousands of people who would LOVE to turn their passion into their career. That being said, gaming studios are almost indifferent to education. All they care about is your portfolio -- tangible samples of your work, showing your talents. So, how do you get started? It kinda depends on what role you want to play (designer, graphics, programming) but samples might include storyboards, game concepts, mods, etc. Good luck!
