So for I have found two versions. One by Bryan Adams and the other by Bowling For Soup, I dont even know if either is the original. Could anyone tell me who the original is? Thank you.

Bowling For Soup are a more recent band. They are definitely not the original singers!
Bryan Adams released the song in 1985.
