As adults, they are free to choose the life they want. One way to settle the problem is to have a better attitude towards sex and not treat it like some kind of commodity or tool.

You can find sex with someone without being committed but you need to know the person. At least for one month. A one night stand is dangerous. I think an affair is better. Both parties have their significant other and you get the sex and send them home to their significant other instead of risking your health by a one night stand.

this is actually a very difficult question.
The most important part of sex (to me, at least) is that it is a physical way for people express love.
some people just get caught up in the pleasure, and the hormones and stuff, though.
As for avoiding one night stands, spend time with a person, get to know them and get along with them. It takes time to build a really good relationship that is worthwhile, and won't just be a one night stand.
I could be wrong, though

i understand you and i agree with you very much...one thing people get on drugs and alcohol and they let things happen that should not.. another they are thinking of now and not thinking of the consequences.. and they should think more like you are thinking.. i know that alcohol can make you think you are doing the right thing until the next day and you wander how did i do this.. that is why i do not drink or do anything like that any more... one thing making love is so much better when you are in love... and not going out with just whoever and not even know them...you do not know who they have been with and can get a disease and not even know it...i hope more people read your question and think about it...and this century is for sex...and paid prostitutes and the man going home later to his wife.. how immoral..and low down...well i agree with you but it will not stop until drugs and alcohol and immoral people wake up...

Uh. Use a condom or keep your thing to yourself? That generally stops AIDS and one night stands.
I don't seen what the big deal is though... Before I met my current boyfriend I was quite slutty - Never caught anything or got pregnant because I was careful, had lots of fun and so did everyone else concerned. No harm done.

Now society is very speed, we are in software line, getting solution for every problem, we are for away from relations,love etc,
we are for away from ethics we are mechines.
because every one pramoting / suggeting condoms to avoid aids, one way of solving the problem.
