As A lover of all types of music it really pisses me off when someone will just shut out an entire style of music just because of one song or bad experience and then they refuse to listen to any of it...Im glad to see that people still cling to what the music industry calls "Rap" Rock" and "Hiphop"..and then resort to petty name calling..like Ive said befroe music is an expression of an experience of a person or people..so hating any type of music is like hating life itself...
its okay if you just dont like the music..you can have your opionon but dont put down the music like a ignorant child
Besides you cant say "Rap is crap" before you listen to Nas,Tribe called Quest,Common,NWA,Tupac,Grandmaster Flash..just to name of few...
Come on now..you have to admit "The Message" is a good song

I am really sick of that in all aspect, not just music. You just have simple minds in all races. It's so sad. But I'm a lover of all kinds of music. Good Luck in getting your point across but some will take there stubbornness or simpleness to their grave.

Whether they accept it or not, Rap is very catchy and all cultures around the world are copying it. That shows that its popular. So no matter what people say it is popular and even though they may say no, they tend to enjoy it without their own knowledge. So its OK!
