Argentina won second place
No third place (wasn't in the regulations)
Only 13 national teams declared a will to participate in the tournament (top European teams such as England, Scotland, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Germany, Austria, Hungary didn't enter the competition)
The teams who participated were France, Mexico, Yugoslavia, Brasil, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Romania, Peru, USA, Belgium, Paraguay, Uruguay.
