don't know if i believe but it would be ignorant for us to say it's impossible that we are the only living planet. if AREA 51 has a UFO, why not just tell us, why be so secretive?

There is no one else here but us. I firmly believe that. You have the majority of the crop circles. What does the evedence tell you?

Nothing at area 51 either. I checked it out when I was the head plumbing technician assigned there.

There are many parts to your question which really beg their own answers:

"If UFOs exist" -- nobody really knows if they exist or not. There has been lots of anecdotal evidence and claims, but no hard proof. I agree that there is probably other life out in the universe, but what is to say that any of those other life forms have ever been to visit the third planet of a rather unremarkable star in an unremarkable arm of a perfectly normal spiral galaxy? But, by assuming they exist, then you automatically assume they have been to Earth, and specifically the U.S., and even more specifically the mysterious "Area 51".

"Why is the government hiding the truth from us" -- do you really believe that the government -- whether the current administration or the many previous ones -- could actually manage to keep something as staggeringly important as real evidence of life on other worlds a secret? Crikeys, our leadership can't even mange to keep their private sexual exploits a secret, what makes you think they could hide that one?

The silly season just continues to run rampant.

I don't think there's much to say about Area 51. I think the real reason that western New Mexico, et al, is "kept secure" by the Federal Government is that they do a lot of missile testing at the White Sands Proving Ground. (My dad, before he retired from Lockheed Martin, often went out there to observe tests being conducted). I think the UFO stuff was concoted by people who observed that the Federal Government was trying to keep a large tract of land clear of people, but then sadly jumped to an entirely wrong conclusion based upon their limited facts.

I don't think I'd be arrogant enough to rule out the possibility of UFO's. In fact, I believe I saw one once. However, it's not something that I think about frequently, or wonder if the end is near, or anything else. I'm just not arrogant enough to believe that humankind is the only creature in the universe that can reason, nor do I believe that we're necessarily the most intelligent creatures around (and, Douglas Adams agrees with me too, stating in "The Hitchhihker's Guide to the Galaxy" that humans, were, in fact the THIRD most intelligent species on the planet.)

If everybody knew there WAS a UFO there, they would have half the world trying to get there too!
We aren't always kept in the dark for nothing, even though we don't like it because realistically we do have a right to know. The hoaxes would be claiming they've been abducted and not just so much the ones who speak the truth. To be honest, if somebody comes forward and claims they've been abducted, I am more than likely to believe them knowing that others would think they are loony (as many do think the stories of abductees are) because it **can't** be proved. I can't see many really risking their reputation etc for a wild story unless genuinely got a mental problem or attention seeking or a publicity stunt.
I actually do believe there to be UFOs but there isn't a lot I don't believe in

Think about this. If the government is hiding anything about UFOs, Aliens, Ets, then why are astronomers still busy, and wasting money, searching the skies for signals, planets, signs of life, etc.....if those same beings are right here on Earth, hidden away at some remote location? Makes absolutely no sense at all.

If there was any LEGITIMATE extra-terrestrial to be found existing in close proximity to Earth, I guarantee, that you will first be informed of it by those people who look to the skies as part of their jobs, or even, hobbies ( i.e., amateur astronomers). :)

greetings...

i personally believe that we are not alone in the universe...
and i think that their is a conspiracy behind all this alien and ufo stuffs... the goverment could be hiding the truth from us maybe because they dont want us to panic or they're just protecting us, then again the could be they have discovered "something" so important that they dont want to share it with the rest of the world... they might have discovered optimal intelligence from beings beyond our wildest imagination - my theory...
the bottom line is we will never know, not until the truth surfaces and the secrets revealed, until then we can only make guesses...

Because they are operating the UFOs.

They have nothing to do with extra-terrestrials or little green men, but are aircraft and spaceships of the future on time-travel missions.
Few people know that the US Navy solved the problem of time travel (with the help of Einstein's theories) during WW II. But for political and strategic reasons this has been kept secret so far.
However, there are plenty of people who came in contact with the project (or its products) in one way or another.

Well, if people found out, there could be a wide spread panic, which really wouldn't help anyone. Also, they might be trying to use said tecnology to use as secret weapons against possible enemies of the U.S., or the world. Just a guess though.

We can't be the only living planet there millions of galaxys out there. Maybe their hiding it because they know it would most likely caus chaos all over the world.

so nobody will start to worry about everything and so people will not start to study it and then they could do something very harmful.
