yes.if previous years are anything to go by,they always start off playing with their eyes shut and on one leg, then dramatically improve as the competition hots up.i think they've got the best chance they've had for a while.just dont mentional penalty shootouts!

Not if Gerrard is going to be wasted as a holding midfielder. Get rid of fat Frank and let Stevie work his magic, he's the most complete midfielder in the world. Carrick or Carragher can do the holding job. Hargreaves should be put down like a lame horse.

Not a chance, they was lucky the other day. Wait till they play Sweden then you'll see. The front line is a joke, my mum could do better than couch/crouch. They miss Roo to much which is a shame as it means there really a 1 man team.

Its too early to tell if but Owen and Rooney get fit then England have a decent chance but they need a huge amount of luck along the way.

Nah. . .not really!

Their confidence was just given a bit of a boost when they beat Jamaica. . .there's too much pressure from their fans.It really is reaching the point of ridiculousness(if that's even a word).

On paper, they honestly DO look good. . .but they won't be able to keep a constant momentum. . . .

We'll see how far they get. . .perhaps the quarter finals???Or am I pushing it a bit too far???

I don't think so. When they were playing their friendly matches, they were excellent!! But if it wasn't for that own goal they wouldn't have gotten that 3 points. But then again it's only the beggining............wait till Rooney get's off that bench!!!
