because there is a big difference between English and their language that makes it impossible to get rid of the heavy accent
we're just going to hack it and put up with it

Why should they, why should the French or Germans or Americans or Australians or any other none English speaking person not have an accent.
Even the English have an accent have you ever heard an English person trying to speak a foreign language ??? we are actually the worst.
