Plain and simple, Dwayne Wade and Shaq are clearly fatigued from the prior series...they just can't keep up with Dallas's slash & flash style of play.

No the Mavs and the Heat were playing NASTY, in game 1. They were playing so bad everyone should have gotten refunds and let theyre kids play on the court during the game, it wouldve been better. They way they played shouldnt even be professional basketball. Dirk airballing like 4 shots, Wade bouncing the ball off his own shoe for a TO. Game 1 they both had a meltdown its just that the Mavs had more points.
Game 2:
The Mavs were able to recover from this. It may have all been game 1 jitters on both sides. Probably being at home helped ease the Mavs. The Heat on the other hand probably still didn't recover yet, especially being booed at the intro which is normal and the frustrations at all the TOs and even Wade got a technical and everyone knows hes oe of the most mellow players out there. I say we see what happens. Let both teams settle in and once they get into it we'll see better games.

well they are not suffereing a meltdown, because i have been saying this since the finals started. Shaq is being taken out of these games because he can not keep up with the quickness and the running and gunning of the mavs. Also, the team is becoming ununited, look at dwayne wade's comments after the game yesterday, he said pat riley was crazy for taking shaq out with 15 minutes left in the game.
The players are starting to question each other, and the injury bug is hitting them, udonis haslem has a bruised shoulder now, and hes there best rebounder on the team.
Last thing that i have to say about the heat, its not that htey are tired because the heat has played 4 games fewer than the mavs in these playoffs this year. The heat will win the next game, then the mavs will win the next two. Sad to say it but Mark cuban will be in the stands next year rooting for the mavs with a shiny new ring.

I Think the difference is The Western Conference is much stronger than the Eastern Conference,,,This is the same Miami team that beat Detroit and made them look so bad at times but I seriously doubt that Miami could put up much of a fight against San Antonio or Phoenix these teams have depth...The problem with Miami is if you shut down Wade and Shaq they have nowhere to go Dallas San Antonio...and even Phoenix have more players that they can go to....the speed and free throw problems are another issue...but give Dallas some credit in past years this team had little defense with the work that Avery Johnson has done Dallas is now one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.

After last night's (Sunday) game, it would appear so. The next game in Miami is critical for the Heat.
I think the Mavs are much too deep for Miami. The Mavs may change the way teams are looked at; the "trust 8, play 7" philosophy may be on its way out.

I believe the Heat will regroup and come out really fighting during their next game. Hopefully Shaq will work on his free throws. You should not count the Heat out yet remember it is the best out of 7 not the best out of 2
