Yes, because it is entirely possible that they harbor the yeast without symptoms and keep passing it back to you. There are other reasons for recurrent yeast infections, too, so if treating your partner doesn't help, you should see your doctor.

To be on teh safe side yes. It does not help that one of you go for treatment and the other one does'nt. Get treatment both of you and until then use protection safe sex is the best solution to all of this. If you are both treated and use safe sex then you will be able to notice where or who has the problem. Sometimes women reacts to lot of things that may cause infections. It is not that you are dirty or careless but your immune system is low. Take note of public toilets they tend to be the cause in some instances. Take care.

If you're getting a lot of yeast infections you may have candida which is a yeast overgrowth

Yes he can keep giving it back to you. Whenever I have a yeast infection I was told to not have sex for at least a week.

well, maybe going to the doctor is a faster way to know the best way to solve the recurrent yeast infection if it worries you.

If they have been properly diagnosed as thrush, then I don't think so. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist though.
