Statler and Waldorf: The two critics up in the balcony. They share my wit, my humor, my disdain for that which is not funny, and a strong desire to be somewhere other than where they are right now.
The writers of Muppetvision 3D (currently playing at the Disney/MGM Studios in Florida and Disney's California Adventure in California) did a fantastic job with Statler and Waldorf:
Statler: Hey Waldorf, what are we gonna see in here anyway?
Waldorf: It's a 3D Movie. Put on your viewing glasses.
Statler: Hey, look at the guy in the goofy mask!
Waldorf: That's not a mask!
Statler: Oh. Sorry, Lady!
Statler: This is a very moving moment.
Waldorf: Yeah, I wish they'd move it to Pittsburgh!
Statler: Oh, isn't that beautiful?
Waldorf: Yeah. Too bad they're about to spoil it with a pig!
Waldorf: Ooooh, Ahhhh, Ohhhhhh
Statler: Enjoying the fireworks?
Waldorf: No, your chair's on my foot!
Statler: Do we have time to go to the bathroom before the next show?
Waldorf: We can't, you old fool, we're bolted to the seats!
