I hate it when that happens.

Goes to show you what people care about. No one wants to discuss anything important.

Actually I think this sort of thing will be the death of Yahoo Answers. There was a time, not that long ago, where the questions and answers were things that people really wanted to know. There was a sense of camaraderie and if it was an emergency, we all responded ASAP, there was a feeling that we were in a little community of like minded people. Now it's nonsense, with people filling up boards as if this is a chatroom And by people I mean kids, and by kids I mean ...well they'll probably censor me, something that NEVER had to be done in the old days!

Because few people have knowledge of that serious information. Other than that, answering questions, wether silly or not can add to our points.

most people here are in for the entertainment....and serious questions are mind squeezing....most people just won't bother working their minds on something serious when they can have a light hearted question instead....
It's a shame, cause the only reason we all started Q&A was to have serious questions answered!

Some days you do and some days you don't find the answer. Many times we do not feel like being serious and just want to look at positives.

i know why...i think it's because a serious question requires a serious answer...and not everyone may have gone through what you have gone through and prefer not to answer your question because they may not be of any help at all...but a silly question can have silly answers and anyone can give you that...

I'd write a huge long answer, but it would say the same thing as Adam...
