Because if you press hard it will send the signal harder and force the batteries to work harder too!

That is why you do it, but I don't do that!

In reality, pushing the buttons will not help the situation; it will cause the controller to wear our faster. In physics we will note the power within storage will not regenerate from an outside force unless the positive and negative are given related energy, which we will call factor A. However, factor A has already been designated to be powered up with a reciprocal force for the patented element charge of factor B. So, any factor, such as placing said battery into a 350 Fahrenheit degree oven, will replace factor B, but with <19.75% success ratio. You will also have a chance of a reaction, the battery exploding or leaking acid. To suppress a button harder will have negative results on the replacement of factor B. Any engineer knows the buttons are on the receipt side of the power curve, with the factor A being the best answer to the problem. (buy new batteries) Pressing the buttons is an obvious reaction without the understanding of factors A and B.

You can actually get enough juice by doing so...Then, by rearranging the batteries you can get a bit more,,,until that final hard press on the remote does nothing!

Press harder and bang it on my leg - just trying to get that last bit of juice out of those batteries.

Because my lazy butt doesn't want to get up and get new batteries, the same mind set that makes me scowl at the microwave for taking so long, and when I push the remote for my car at my house door and wonder why it doesn't unlock.
