lmfao!! That is the most hilarious question I've ever heard. That was pretty well thought out! It makes sense to say it's a hostage situation. However, since it's a split personality the other side would have to object to the dieing in order for it to be considered a hostage. Therefore the other side would fight to come through, so if it doesn't it's complying. OMG this isn't making any sense, kid you're confusing me...have fun with that one!

:)) Very interesting question.

It's actually an impossible (to solve) hostage situation. First you cannot kill the kidnapper to save the hostage. And second: If you convince the kidnapper to give up you have to let him walk. Otherwise you'll put the hostage in jail too.

Seriously speaking, it's not a hostage situation because the hostage does not exist in the same time with the kidnapper.

very good question but personaly i think that it would have to depend on the situation really. And is this really a hostage situation? has the other personality taken hostage of the first personality.

Great question. One that deserves a great answer.

Unfortunately I don't have one, however I do have a great answer to your question. If it was me I'd shoot the fella, but absolutely under no circumstances would I shoot him, that way if he died it wouldn't be my fault, except I would have to admit guilt since I did do it, apart from the fact that obviously it wasn't me it was the other guy .... the dead one ..... he shot himself, I saw the whole thing, well actually I didn't see anything, apart from the shooting, which I couldn't get a clear view of because the other bloke blocked my view. The dead one .... yes. No I did shoot him, but he wanted me to, except he didn't actually want me to really, well he did until he told me to shoot him and I didn't shoot him because that would have been a bit dodgey, although in now way dodgey at all really when you think about it...... about what? the shooting ..... I didn't do it, yes you did, I did? No it wasn't you ....................who said that?............................
