I take it you mean songs that have to do with fathers, or fathers-in-law.
There's the jazz song "Song for My Father", the soul song "Color Him Father" (which I think is about a stepfather). On the negative side there's "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". On the semi-negative side, about good intentions unfulfilled, is "Cats in the Cradle".
Other songs featuring or mentioning fathers include "Coward of the County", "A Boy Named Sue", "Soliloquy" (from the musical Carousel--the song is about a father-to-be), "Papa Sang Bass", "Papa Loved Mama", "Oh My Papa". "Sunrise, Sunset" is a father watching his daughter get married. "Scarlet Ribbons" is about a father trying to find a special gift for his daughter. "The Other Generation", from the musical Flower Drum Song, sung by a father and aunt, is about the generation gap. (The reprise is sung by his younger son and the boy's friends.)
I found some websites with father songs.

Whatever comes form your heart - and whatever songs you can play well - You are going to play these songs on your instrument, or sing them with your own voice aren't you?
Surely you are not announcing to the world, in a forum that will remain archived indefnately - that you are planning to make a collection of copies of copyrighted material - and distribute it.
Make him a CD of songs you sing or play yourself - then it will be really a special gift.

Why don't you give him a gift card to a music store? He can go get exactly what he wants and you do not have to worry about boggling your brain to figure out what to put on a CD.
