Movie Tavern is a movie theatre with dining, that plays current run movies while you and the kids can dine. (there are several locations in the DFW area) Currently Cars, X-Men3 etc...

Rainforest cafe is a rainforest themed restaurant in Grapevine Mills Mall.

Your Typical Hard Rock Cafe might also put a sparkle in your kids eyes, but Hard Rock isn't so special anymore, now that they are everywhere. Spaghetti Warehouse also used to be a special place.

If you need a place that is kid friendly those are pretty much your only choices unless you want to visit a chain. Tokyo One is a great place, kids probably won't like it though. It is sushi, hibachi, soup; all you can eat.
