According to Einstein and Stephen Hawking, travelling at the speed of light (for anything with mass, ie not photons) is impossible. But travelling near the speed of light is theoretically possible.

If you were to travel close to the speed of light you would go into the future a lot quicker than those who don't travel close to the speed of light. It would require huge amounts of energy.

Unfortunately it would be a one way system. To travel back it time it would be necessary to bend the whole universe. Or you could find a way of travelling to parrallel universes (if they exist) and that would solve problems for both forward time travelling and back time travelling.

THEORETICALLY, if there are two person, then the one travelling at the speed of light will experience less time then the one who is standing. For example if one person stands and his clock reads that an hour has passed, the other person travelling at the speed of light will EXPERIENCE a time less than an hour.

PRACTICALLY, anything travelling at the speed of light will convert into energy, so the theory above is not justified.

No, it is not travelling past or future, those are only in movies.

As appealing as speed of light travel may sound, it is not approachable by any object with a notable mass, including the human body. As an object approaches the speed of light, it requires geometrically more energy to continue its acceleration.

In the event you could generate enough energy to propel you near enough the speed of light to have a significant effect on time the amount of energy you would consume would render you a plasma from any residual heat.

For giggles, here is the formula for the time compression based on the factor of c (fraction of the speed of light)

[1-(v/c)^2]^½

Where v equals the velocity of the object, and c is the speed of light. This will tell you to what fraction time has been reduced. Note that it doesn't even reach 1/2 until almost .9c

Even if you don't travel at speed of light but say at half it's speed you are travelling to future. As your time interval shortens when you come back after travelling you would find more time has elapsed than to account for your journey .So in effect you have travelled to future.

Time travel is impossible, because once something besides light reaches that speed, it ceases to exist. It doesn't travel to another plane of existance or another time, and it doesn't ever come back. Even Einstein said this, although, he theorized that viewing the future was possible.

Yes!
Time Travel effectively can be applied to anything that can travel at extreme speed.
The atomic clock is the most accurate time measurement in the world and on 1 revolution flown around the Earth, loses 1.5 seconds, this is time travel, quite infinitesimal but proven fact.
The faster we go the greater the anomaly of time.
You are on the right course of understanding, stick with it.

they say it is possible but my mind does not comprehend the theories of time travel...

but i guess if a person had the ability to move at the speed of light... they will be able to pause time...

like if everyone was going at normal speed and u were moving at the speed of light.. you will be moving faster than everyone and will be able to rob banks and stuff w.o anyone ever knowing...
crazy...

Right now our technology is not capable to perform this feat. But maybe in the futue it will be possible.
