He may be a hero to you, he may be brilliant, but he is not a "wise" man, nor a good man for he would have kept his knowledge to himself .
He probably did it for money so that cuts his size a bit. SO much for being a "hero."
He could be considered a warmonger for what he has done.
SOME countries cannot handle knowledge. Especially dictator ones. They use it to control their own then others.
USA trys hard to keep themselves in check as to what they have and know. They do so to protect the World from each other as well as protect their own.
I wish some of you would understand you have a friend in the USA. We are not perfect....

A national hero for which country? I try to keep up with current events, but I've never heard of him.

for my opinon its better to say that because making other countries nuclear weapons (nuclear proliferation) is more devastating world just consider the example of usa on japan in world war II so that many other extremist would occur on the planet earth.........may dictate, threatened.
