is there a site where you can find out how much an item is valued??? i need this for my homework im im stuck!!!

you can compare and see the prices of various items on ebay.com. In case of books, go to amazon.com.
In case of branded items, you can go to respective sites of their manufacturers such as sony, samsung, lg, intel, microsoft etc.
If you are unable to find the exact site yourself, then just search on google, type the brand name alongwith product name such as tv, car, computer etc.

I have had to get values and I used ebay to see what people are willing to pay for something. The better the condition the higher the value. If you say what the item is there maybe an expert here on Answers that could help you. Good luck. :)
