Absolutley--the sound, the lightning, and the smell of the rain on a warm spring/summer day.

Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well I love a rainy night
It's such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
To taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadow

CHORUS:
Wish I was washed
All my cares away
I'd wake up to a sunny day
'Cause I love a rainy night
Yes I love a rainy night
Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night

Well I love a rainy night
I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightning
When it lights up the sky
You know it makes me feel good

Well I love a rainy night
It's such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain
On my face
To taste the rain on my lips
In the moonlight shadow

Puts a song
In this heart of mine
Puts a smile on my face every time

'Cause I love a rainy night
Yes I love a rainy night
Ooh I love a rainy night
Yeah I love a rainy night

Yeah, its just nice to look out of my window to see the lightning and rain, and hear thunder. Its even better when it rains when your trying to go to sleep, because it calms me down to rest. I dont like BIG Thunderstorms when Im all alone or when a tornado is expected here in Kansas even if my mom and dad are home.

I do like to watch the raw power that gets displayed, but if i am in the open and that too on somewhere high (like on the roof - if i have to be there then) then its a bit frightening to think of being cooked instantly to ash.

They scare me to death. When we have a big storm coming and I'm home alone my family all knows someone better get to me fast or I will have a breakdown. I actually hyperventilated myself and had a panic attack once and ended up in the hospital overnight during a really bad one.
