I have been seeing a guy for about a year now and have decided to end the relationship as he's been getting too clingy. He wants me to leave my husband and move in with him which is totally impossible really.

He keeps using reasons like....we were an 'item' before you got married, we spent time together on your wedding night and stuff as good reasons.

How can I get him to understand the situation or should I give up and just keep seeing him to keep things simple?

If you can't leave your husband then either get rid of the lover of just keep seeing him but let him know if he so much as mentions it again he can go ...himself.

Your married and your seeing him, come on girl, also you 'spent time' with him on your wedding night? Your thinking about seeing him to keep things simple, what you are doing is wrong. You need to think what you really want, your husband or this other guy. I know that i don't know what sort of situation you are in with your husband but if things are ok with you and him, its not fair. If you want to be with your husband leave the other guy, and if you want to be with the other guy, leave your husband. Whatever you do, im sure you'll do the best to make yourself happy. You cannot go on with both men.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

I don't think that seeing him will make things simple, actually, it'll only make things worse. Is it really worth it to risk your relationship with your husband for this guy? If you'll continue to see him, you are just giving him false hope that you feel the-same way about him. Ask yourself this question - Is he better than your husband? Do you love him more than your husband? Do you think you'd be happier with him? If NO, then totally ignore him... he'll get it sooner or later...

If you continue to see someone that you dont want to see you are not keeping things simple, in fact you are complicating things more and ignoring the problem.
Make it clear to him that you do not want to be in the relationship but that you value his friendship and would like to stay friends then I think distance yourself as much as u can, you take a chance having affairs, be prepared to be found out. Good luck

Your decision is more whether to keep on being a low-down lying cheating trollopy scum-bag or not. Tell your husband what's been going on and pray that he'll help you to beat the slag out of yourself and become a better person.

Jeez, some people! I hope you're found out and it all goes the way it should (i.e. horribly wrong)...

(With an email address like "dirty uk babe"...well, what can you expect?)

Sounds like he is going to make your life hell no matter what you do...

Especially if he says, "I'll tell your husband"... And then the stuff really will hit the fan...

Let your husband know the score, and then tell this guy to hit the streets... He is go good... You need to find someone who is fun but wants "no strings"...

If you wanna chat further, give me a shout...
