It seems that the war on drugs is an excuse for making it a war on its own citizens rather than stopping the drugs at their source.
and also a way of making the police forces bigger.
Drugs a a big problem mainly because it is illegal and their is so much money to be made. It would be far better to leave everyone to make their own free will choice about drugs.
The real war on drugs begins and ends with one thing the user.
If everyone stop then the market would stop.
Spend more money on education and help with drug addicts and
treat drug addiction as a sickness and not a crime.
Cigarette companies kill lots lots more people but somehow our strange laws allows the sale of cigarettes.
Its a health problem that is and has not been properly looked at.

The “War on Drugs” has been the same federal success as the “War on Poverty”, profiting the government and been a burden on the citizens. Both are meant to control and keep people down and under big governments thumb. LBJ’s Great Society War On Poverty has cost trillions of taxpayers dollars and yet according government statistics the poverty level remains constant or even growing slightly. What do you want to bet that Big Government’s solution will be to increase the tax burden on the working class yet again?

Slightly negatively. Would be very negatively if I ever got caught doing them. I still see alcohol do more damage than all the drugs combined*. I just wish I could get high legally because I don't like getting drunk.
*except meth. Meth is very bad. Really bad. Never do it.
