Proper nutrition is very important for the baby during preganancy. If you suffer from Anorexia, it is very important that you inform your doctor and consult a dietician so that you know that you are getting the proper amounts of nutrition required for yourself and your baby.
The most critical term for your baby is the 1st trimester where the most essential development of the baby takes place. It is important that you do an ultrasound to make sure that your baby is growing well.
Women with eating disorders have higher rates of miscarriages and your baby might be born prematurely which puts them at risk for many medical problems.
I would suggest you consult your doctor immediately to ensure proper care of you and your baby.

You already know the answer to this question, dont you? NO ITS NOT OKAY. Dont live in a dreamland. You need to wake up. You are endangering your child as much as you would if you were to smoke or stand in second hand smoke.
Talk to your doctor and get yourself cured. Have you been going to your prenatal appointments? Is the baby healthy and normal? Have you been "anorexic" during the pregnancy, meaning starving yourself? Did you know by not eating you seriously hurt the baby? No ifs and buts. This is a sure fact.
Please get help. This is a serious mental issue. There might be other problems in your life that need solving.
If you are anorexic now, you may end up getting post partum depression after the baby is here. I have seen post partum depression in someone I love. She is a mess, her whole life is. Her post partum depression was never cured, and she ending up with a other serious mental diseases as well. Look this doesnt get better if you dont stop it yourself. You will only get more and more crazy as time passes. More mental issues will pop up. More strange sounding diseases. In turn, this will make you more depressed to know that you are this mentally sick. Once you get that bad, its hard to get better. Please dont hurt yourself.
The other reason why you want to solve this issue is because you dont want your child to grow up to be like you. If you starve yourself, and even if you think you are hiding it, your child will know for sure and even at age 3 or 4 will not eat.
You know you want to be a good loving mother. And of course you can and you will.
Please dont be anorexic anymore. I know easier said than done. I bet you feel that this is the one part of your life that you can actually control. If you do feel this way then once again I say please get help NOW.
Just get serious help. Tell your doctor. NOW.

if you're not eating your baby isn't getting the nourishment it needs to grow and be healthy. You need to get help now, if not for yourself then do it for the baby. It hasn't done anything to deserve being starved. What you do to yourself is up to you but don't harm your innocent baby in the process. I'm not trying to sound harsh, but you have someone else to think about here.

Yes, you need to go to a doctor and get help right away. If you don't you could miscarry or you could have a baby with birth defects.

no, you must eat to keep your baby alive. In order to grow, yourbaby needs you to eat at least 1200 calories every daym and eat enough vitamins and minerals to keep you both healthy. Think about your baby, not your control of your weight.

u should really ask your doctor but common sense tells me that without proper nutrition your baby could suffer from a whole array of birth defects from mental problems to a premature birth. its really not sfae for you or your baby.
