I was asked how do I know this was not a prank? I don't but having children myself I would rather report it and it not be true than to not report it and ruin a little girls life as mine was! This has been turned over to the FBI and they are investigating it at this time they have contacted teh proper authority where the sicko lives, prank or not this person is sick to even suggest such things! Thank you all for your insight!

Please don't think that Oprah is the place to go. I hope the people who said that will *grow up*!!

Crimes against children, and *especially* online predators are the responsibility of the FBI. Please contact them, either online or at a local office. See sources section below for more information. The bottom of that Web page includes a list of local FBI field offices and phone numbers.

Call the local police department

I suggest that you call your local police station (obviously not the emergency number). The action that they can take depends on the actions of the "sexual predator". If adults are soliciting children in the US, that is a criminal offense.

Good luck!

I really don't know for sure, but I'd do something. Call the police, notify the television station in your town, call everyone and anyone you can think of until someone listens to you. You may be saving someones life.
