I think you will get busted because it happened to one of Eminem's friends when they were touring to Canada. If you are traveling from state to state it isn't a problem, but since you are trying to leave the United States it does cause a problem. Customs won't understand that your reasons for leaving are to attend a funeral, they'll think you are trying to evade from your legal responsibilities and intend to never come back to the U.S.

Yes. You will be 'busted' on your way back since that is the leg of the trip where your fingerprint will be taken. At the moment you are talking to the custom offers regarding the purpose of your trip or just answering a simple question like "So how was your trip Mr/Miss ... ", the system is updated and everything that UNCLE SAM know about you is now visible.
The smartest thing to do is - make your payment to the estate that you owe/make your court appearance and stay put until your situation change.
Getting arrested at the airport is not a welcoming scene.
What do you think?

Don't make the trip. In case you haven't been paying attention, people are having a harder time coming back into the country when they have legal issues. Western Union some funds to someone in J'ca or face embarrassment. I'd try to take care of that warrant you have first. By leaving the country, you can have added charges tacked on if you are caught. If you are a US citizen, it wouldn't be as harsh as if you weren't, but why risk it?

IF you dont give them a reason to run your name through the GCIC, you shouldnt. I wouldnt suppose so anyway . Ive never flown (sheltered life). Im in public saftey and I am around alot of Cops. Dont hold me to the answer, but if you think about it, people leave the country all the time and are wanted in some way as far as the court is concerned. Not that your a wanted person. Dont take me the wrong way.GOOD LUCK.
