You should not be trying to stop yourself dreaming no matter what the reason.
When you sleep you go through different stages, the stage where you are dreaming is called R.E.M (rapid eye movement) sleep. It is only when you reach this stage that the body is able to repair any damage done to it during the day, and if you don't rech it you will find that you are sleepy all the time during the day and it is possible that you could start to have hallucinations as you are not sleeping properly.
You really need to see a doctor for advice, the dreams could be directly linked to something happening in your life, it could even be depression.
I do hope you manage to sort everything out and finally manage to get a good nights sleep.

No medication available. In deep sleep you will not have any dream. You are not getting deep sleep that is the problem. There are harm less herbal oils live Navrattan,Almond etc a few drops of massage on scalp before sleeping will improve sleep. You can try washing both feets with cool water before sleeping. There is possibility that your pillow and bedding may be hard or too soft. Please check and change,if neeeded.Practice some meditation. If you are Christian read a few lines from your religious book Bible(Hindu ftrom Gita.Moslem from Koran) ,before going to sleep.Repeat yourselves that you are going to have sound sleep and will be having sweet dreams only.If you are still not satisfied after a month or so see a doctor.Never use sleeping pills.I hope you will have natural sleep henceforth.Good Luck
If you use shampoo, avoid all chemical based shampoos and switch to herbal shampoo..

Right now and until you deliver every thing goes to the baby/uterus first - food-drink-and even blood - the last can cause dizziness and seeing "spots" as your blood rushes to the uterus.....and it gets more noticeable the bigger the uterus gets...(further along you are) Your Dr will be checking you regularly for signs of diabetes (blood sugar etc) so I would not suspect that unless they indicate your urine tests or blood screen show it - make sure to eat small meals more frequently - instead of 3 reg meals try 6 smaller ones to stay on top of your diet and get up slowly when you have been sitting or lying down for periods of time....another cause for dizzy spells is high blood pressure but again - this is something the Dr has been keeping track of since your first appt so they will notice any abnormal increase in numbers and again your urine tests will show if you are under strain from it (called pre eclampsia it does not typically onset before the third trimester - I developed it in my 2nd and 3rd preg)... Good Diet lots of Rest and Water should help keep the dizziness at bay...

Taking medication to supress your dreams is not a good long term solution, nor is it particularly healthy.
Your brain requires dreams to remain healthy and function properly. If you fail to dream, for a sufficient pierod of time, you can develope serious mental disorders.
A better solution would be to adress the issues, social and emotional, that are taking place during your waking hours, that are leading to your disturbed sleep.
Sorry to say - no magic pill... only the hard work of proper mental health.

Are you taking any medications that might be causing them in the first place? Percocet and Loritab give me violent dreams sometimes (back surgery, not recreational). The human mind must have REM (dream) sleep to function properly, so if you still have mostly nightmares I would seek a doctor's help.

Hi! Meds is THE wrong way to go about it. Believe it or not, what you have is a great gift that not many people have. Through your vivid "dreams" you have the opportunity to solve your problems and work out your issues. You can learn to conquer all your fears in the "dream" state and gain amazing strength. All you need to do is to program yourself. This mantra will work wonders for you, if you stay disciplined and repeat it every night right before you go to bed(the last thing you do or just to repeat it for 5 mins.). "I have the power". I use this one because I don't know your relationship with GOD/LOVE and this is pretty simple. In actuality, no one is the power, we can only be used by the power...which is GOD/LOVE. By repeating this, you empower yourself in spirit and in body. Trust me on this.
Years ago, I used to have THE worst "nightmares". I used to get sucked into the vortex in my home and I had to deal with lower-dimensional beings. I have wisdom for this. You can also program yourself to become invisible, giving you the edge on your situation. Please trust me on this-I know what you're going through and this is the only thing that will work. Your efforts will be well rewarded. Please, email me if you need more info or support.

I think any sort of tranquilizer will stop or at least reduce the number of dreams you have, cannabis can, minor tranquilizers such as Valium can, but you do not want this to happen. You will end up becoming psychotic. See a psychologist for advice.

Having dreams is perfectly normal and you should not even try to change it with any medicine as it will affect the sleep pattern. To change the dream topics though, try to consult a psycologist who will be able to address the root cause of the problem
