If you know WHO you are and WHAT you are, within,
you are the most valuable, unique and universal thing
in this whole Universe!
I am talking of the contents, not the packing.
I am talking of the seed, not the husk.
If you can grasp the truth, you can understand the value!

The value WE humans place on it. E.G. In the past slaves (actual humans) were worth money. With the new human rights revolution, life is considered priceless as it cant be replaced or compensated for.
And to DOCTRYLUV. The human body is an exellent piece of amazing, perfectly designed engenieering. Do you think a single human cell can be created? How much would it cost to artificially make DNA? The human genome took 13 years just to be identifyed, and it contains more than 3 BILLION chemical base pairs. And you dare to say you can build a human with $ 15? Please....

Human life has been paid for by the blood of Jesus which in itself is infinitely priceless. We are all precious in the sight of God. So are our lives as precious jewels in God's coffers. After all He has paid the ultimate ransom for each one of us. Every person from the first moment of conception is worth more than all the gold in the world to God. Unfortunately some people don't value human life the same as God does and they selfishly kill their unborn children. Some even rape and destroy young women and even children. And some people would rather see an old person euthanized than to have the burden of taking care of them. How sad that our parents and older relatives took care of us and provided for us when we needed it and now some people think they are now worthless because they are sick and need assisted living. You have a value beyond human comprehension. Respect life in all stages and God will bless you with happiness.

A child is born , its parents love and care for the child . the child grows and learns and becomes aware of the people and things around him/ her . The child grows into young person with opinions , likes and dislikes. The child becomes attached to his or her environment and the people around him/her, all the while the child is growing and learning absorbing information and becoming more mature in thought and opinion about life , love
politics ,religion, ect. Now a fully grown adult with Independence and ambitions, hopes and dreams ,love interests, friends and family who love that person and visa versa.
Job opportunities, parties, sex ,falling in love,Disappointments. and sorrow personal loss
of someone dearly loved, profound grief, and then reconciliation and healing. Life goes on and before he/she knows it, all that happened and was experienced in a short lifetime has become memories, memories that are shared by all the human lives that are or were connected to that person.A human life isn't really worth that much unless your selling organs on the black market. But it's the Being attached to the body that makes each and every human+Being Priceless :)

It's hard to put a value on human life, because would you value the life of someone that invented a cure for aids, over say, a fire-fighter, or some bum that saved someones life?
The value of human life is immeasurable.

Hmmmm......depends on the human. Nah, that smacks of sarcasm. I'd say "Priceless", but then the Master Card folks will steal it. Plus, this can't be answered in monetary terms.
I guess the best way to gague value of any life is the impact it has on the lives around it.

More than just the value of the raw materials. After all, the materials have been refined and combined in special ways.
Compare it to the value of a car: you can take the value of a working vehicle in terms of usefulness--that's far more than raw materials. If the car doesn't run, you can take it apart and sell all the pieces, and that's still worth a lot more than the raw materials.

Mathematically this depend on the country you are born in... say for example, Iraq has a population of 26.074 million and a GDP of 54.4 billion US$, thus average value of Iraqi life is US$2,086.3
China on the otherhand has a population of 1,306.313 million and a GDP of 7.262 Trillion US$, thus average value of a chinese life is US$5,559.15US$. If now you consider another country say cambodia, having a population of 13.61 million and a GDP os 26.99 billion US$, the average value of Cambodian life is US$1,983.53.. thus average of these three is US$3,209.66 and this is based on the average of 1,345.997 million people. Now considering the world population of 644.61 billion (current estimate) and world GDP of 60,710.0 billion US$, average value of human life is just 94.2US$... :) and this is a dynamic value ...
Philosophically human life can't be valued, it is beyond any price
Hope I have answered your question :)

I think that we ourselves, know our value, but in reality it depends who is President of the United States. So much power to do good things, but just can't get right down on his knees to beg for forgiveness. He has hurt alot of people, not only here, but all over. The world hates us, through him. It is really hard to live 59 years and think all the while that is it going to get better, when it only gets worse. I am sorry to be negative, but I am sad to see all the questions you young people are asking, wanting to be involved in life, but life is hard now because of our situation in the US. I was outgoing and went everywhere, now I hardly go outside cause it hurts me.
thanks for listening

In the cosmic sense, the only value is to procreate and continue the species.
In the personal sense, to experience life and all the joy and tragedy that it offers.
In the interpersonal sense, to love, hate and relate.
In the spiritual sense, to wonder, question and have awe or angst.
In the philosophical sense, to ask questions like yours.
