You asked what is so exiting about 22 players kicking a football? Well I don't know what is exiting about it but I know what is EXCITING ie its a chance for the whole nation to unite and be happy to support their country in the World Cup, its not everyday its only once every four years and its in the summer so you can enjoy watching loads of international footie in the sunshine with a few drinks and have a barbecue.
I am not sure who's skin is on the football except some fat cow's who can spare it.

Well first thing's first, the ball is NOT made out of anyone's skin. Second, you're complaning about 22 players kicking one ball in football, what do you think about basketball, hockey, & rugby? Doesnt that also consist of several players chasing after a ball? Football is a beautiful game buddy. Never under estimate it.

the exciting part is when you see a player dodging other skillfull players and put in use fittness ,brain it shows how a team of 22 players can control and entertain millions of people across the globe.see how goalkeepers can be sent the wrong way with players and high quality goals,passes kicks corners it all needs effort and skill to be there in the field

wow... you dont make a soccer ball out of skin... well you do but its cow skin... its not very exciting to watch unless its a shootout though, i question it too. Though I will watch if the USA makes it to the world cup.

Maybe a few hundred years ago, now they're made of leather which comes from cows.

actually..Matt L...I don't think Goutam is American, since he referred to the ball as a football, and not a soccer ball...just my guess tho.
