yeah i dont know why klinsmann chose Lehmann instead of Kahn
coz Kahn is good in one on one against the offensive
you just see those two goals conceded by Lehmann last Saturday
and remember when Lehmann was sent off in the Champion's League Final?

Absolutely. Oliver Kahn along with Rustu were the best keepers in 2002 and this year in league play he proved he has notmissed a beat. He is still the best in the business.

Well Kahn is a great goalkeeper. But Lehmann is not bad. He's good, too. Kahn is experienced. But Lehmann has a better physical fitness. I think Lehmann wont do any worse than Kahn. Klinsmann didnt make any mistake by selecting Lehmann. He wont disappoint.

The german defense seems a little weak. Hence, the opposition is bound to get a lot of goal scoring opportunities.

I don't know about Kahn's current form, but if Lehmann is playing the second round (knockout), there is a chance of early exit for the germans

The guy (Oliver Kahn) is not just old, he is extremely old.

Besides, the Arsenal goal-keeper Lehmann is doing an excellent job ~ and is on top of his game. I am not saying this 'cos I'm an Arsenal fan - facts are facts. Lehmann is just the best goal keeper in Europe at present!!

I am not a big follower of German Football, but I was surprised when I found out Kahn was not starting. I havent seen Lehman play enough to think either way, but Kahn is still one of the best in the world. I think Klinsman made the correct choice though, because obviously Lehman is very good, and younger. If you have to sub a keeper in for the other, I would rather put in the more experienced player than take out the more experienced and put in the younger.

I agree 100%. Kahn is a much better player than Lehmann, and is better one on one against the offensive players.

give Jens Lehmann a chance. just look back at how he performed so well in the UEFA Champions' League with Arsenal last season.

I think they should give him a chance especially after seeing lehmann getting greasy fingers in the last match

i won't agree, cos Lehmann is in a better shape and form than Kahn, though the latter is more influential
