Yeah, God's Army is good. There are also free movies that you can order online from the church. They don't cost a thing, and they explain our religion very well. Here is the link: http://mormon.org/seenontv/1,19733,6199-1,00.html

God's Army is a horrible example of what Mormon life or missionary life is for that matter. There have been several movies of the Mormon genre produced in the last few years. If you want a good movie that portrays missionary life I would suggest "The Best Two Years". All the others such as The Singles Ward or the RM and the other HaleStorm productions are funny, but filled with Mormon culture and Utah stereotypes.

Most of them are totally whitewashed and unrealistic. The most accurate movie I've seen is called God's Army. It's about some Mormon missionaries serving in Los Angeles. It is almost exactly what my experience was like as a missionary in Las Vegas 8 years ago.

Well, if you want a humorus yet realistic perspective, I would recommend the following movies:
The Singles Ward
The RM
The Best Two Years
Sons of Provo

They are funny and realistic.
