Black is void of anything. So traditionally, story tellers and Spiritual leaders choose black. It is sort of scary to see something with no reflective value and devoid of light, don't you think?? I wouldn't be scared of a woman or man in pink, in an alley! would you?

there is lot to explain,firstly, black is associated with evil, secondly, it doesnt make these bad people in the movies look regale but smart which is what their dressing code should be, i mean - their mind is filled with venom n not love.
thirdly, well these people go out in the dark n they move unnoticed.

It started way back in the early western black an white movies.
The good guy was always in white and the bad ones in black. Easy to identify.

bc in movies the bad people usually come out at night and wen theyr outside or in a dark room they wil be able to hide better becuz they would bled into the dark
