Get a copy of your original birth certificate, which should have the doctor who delivered you, and the hospital in which you were born. (If you were born at home, try to find out which city and state you were born in, and then, research which pediatricians were practicing at that time, and check the records of each of them.) If that doesn't work, try to locate someone else who might have known your family at the time of your birth, and ask them. When all else fails, hire a detective. They are trained in finding nearly obsolete information.
