Human beings invent subjective ideals on the best way to qualify one's existence. You will not get an obecjtive answer on the meaning of life, nor will you get one on the purpose of life. Everyone interjects what they feel is the best manner of living, and impose those subjective beliefs on others, attempting to justify their own reasons for living. To borrow from Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance (Robert Pirsig), Pirsig implies that the more our beliefs are in doubt, the more voraciously we will dispell these beliefs on others. That point is exemplified in a pastor standing at the pulpit, gloriously praising Jesus to a mass of believers who may coo and call out to the pastor during his sermon. Conversely, there is no soldier who appears on the news every morning, before sunrise, alerting the public that the sun will appear in the east, because this is such a common fact to which there is no question of its validity. This is the basis of judgement.

Most human beings impose judgement on others and make assessments of one's worth due to their career choices. Summarily, passing judgment based on the work one does. We also judge garbagemen, as being dirty with a lower social status. We judge women who become strippers, because it seems to be out of desperation.

This is also a strong puritanical society we live in, in America, and such sexual openness, puts the so called moral ones in fear that their beliefs may be fallacious. Stripping is an example of how one's beliefs may be challenged, particularly when those beliefs are biblical, and stand starkly opposed to sexual immorality as defined in the bible.

Personally, I have judged strippers myself. This judgment I have cruelly passed on women, is in no way puritanical. I am a secularist, and frequently, I refute the existence of a creator. I think my personal judgement stems from my own inward feelings of self worthlessness and lonliness. When I have to pay a girl for a meaningless tease, because I am too lonely to cope, I feel used. It makes me see the ugliness within myself, and I project that ugliness spitefully towards women who strip. This is a flaw. I am a flawed man. It is difficult for me to accept myself for whatever it is I am at times. This in no way constitutes my entire philosophy, or being, but I have set it out there as an example to the ways people judge.

Believe it or now not, (regardless of all of the ladies's rights preaching), ladies are ACTUALLY specific than guys. Sure, stripping feeds the primeval aspect of guys and be demoralizing, however it is a truth of the character of persons. Women are lovely and delicate, guys recognize such matters. I've been to strip golf equipment right here within the US and overseas. MOST of the time, they're in it considering the fact that they've a child to feed and cannot get cash different methods. Sure, they may be able to paintings at McD's for minimal salary and make and make $50 an afternoon (est 8hr day). Or...Strip for approximately $three hundred-$500 consistent with night time (two-four hours).

All people deserve some degree of respect just for being human. If a person wants more respect then they have to earn it. Stripping as an occupation doesn't get the kind of respect I think you are asking about because of the strippers themselves. The people they are entertaining have no respect for them therefore they have little respect for themselves. And if you don't respect yourself ... nobody else is either. But I have more respect for a professional stripper than I do for the men who frequent these places.

It is obviously not respectable because it practically bared open the shame for which humans have been subjected to ever since Adam first sinned against God.

Ever wondered why man has to be clothed later on? Its the shame that caused ordinary man to cover their nakedness. Those who advocated nudism or other forms of stripping quite simply have no more shame on themselves.

Because there are women who are the martyrs for making it known that there's so much more power in women than their nude bodies. Strippers set women back, instead of help to plunge ahead and be more respected. Why do you suppose males continue making more money at work than females do? Strippers just help to disable womankind from putting ON her clothes and going to work to get paid as much as a man. Point is: Women won't get the respect they should have when they are content to tease dick for money.

It is not seen as a respectable job because people find it hard to respect them doing the things they do.

Stripping is considered a sex trade - even though strippers are not having sex with their customers, they are still providing a sexual fantasy service for a fee.

Anything that is considered a sex trade will always be shown in a negative light.

Also, non strippers feel intimidated. I mean boyfriends and husbands are paying another woman to perform a sex fantasy that for whatever reason they feel they cant get from their partners.

Well maybe if you are just stripping, but lots of those girls are skanky hoes and ruin the reputation for all of them. Also I think that other jealous women trash them because they are just jealous and angry because their boyfriends or husbands go there. I dont see dancing sexy as not respectable. I dont think married men should sneak off and go there though.

They are selling their bodies they are appealing to lust of the flesh and causing men to sin. This isn't respectable. And with stripping comes all the stuff associated with it too.

It's late and I bet you are kidding, right. Society has these rules, mores, standards, and it has social stratification. If Hilton humps on video, that's OK,it's excentric. If you hump on video and do not have millions, that's sin.
It's complex but it's real.
Keep on stripping, be safe, have fun.
