I personally find it enyoyable! I'm going back to school for psychology and sociology so I don't mind doing this

Sometimes, it is entertaining, but it's also educational. Seriously. Some questions really do make you consider a particular subject, maybe make you form an opinion about something that you've never thought about. I've actually used a couple of my better answers on here about the prison system in US, to write my final exam essay for my Legal Systems class. I unintentionally outlined all I needed for it in an answer here on yahoo. And man it can be fun too...lol Check out my latest question to see what I mean... ;]

Yes, bored. But wait, there's more. It's a means of communicating; it's a way to gain perspective and sort out ideas, a way to collect data, gague levels of interest and degree of social illness. The news may tell you about world events but Answers tells you about the undercurrents.

No, Allot of times I look for people that really have a problem and try to help them. I mostly go to subjects that I know something about. Sometimes i do look at silly questions though. I don't care about the points either.

I usually do this when I get bored but I often like giving useful advice to people who honestly want it. Some people here are full of sh!t and I tell them whatever colorful thing comes to mind!
