Sometimes it the Pickup coil inside the Distributor (IF, it have a Distributor). OHM Meter to check, unplug from the Electronic Module it has 2 wires. OHM it with the Meter, should get a reading from 5K-10K Ohms. IF, there no reading or it go to Infinity the Pickup Coil is bad. Remember; This the Coil Inside the Distributor Cap not the one outside!!! I try to find you a link to check the outside Coil there 3 points to Ohm out. IF, it not either Coil it may be the Electronic Module inside the Distributor, some Parts stores can check this, when removed, call around and ask.
I hope this link will work, this Autozone web site and shows you how to test your Coil with the Ohm Meter;

systematically start by checking everything from the pick up coil to the spark plugs. The best way is get a voltage tester with a light for about 10 dollars.Every where you touch in the circuit the light should light up. If not theres your problem

check and make sure the red power wire on the side of the cap is connected and has 12 volts. If that checks good then you need a control module $8-$25.
