am planning to get some dresses for my work.would be helpful if any of you could give some more suggestions for formal dressing.

it shouldn't show any skin. if your skirt sits on the natural waist then it should be hip length, if it sits lower then the shirt should be longer. a good way to check is to raise your arms straight to your sides if you can see your stomach it's too short.

it should be about 1 inch or 1 1/2 inches above your knee.
