Which BBC ident in 1981 is better: BBC1 or BBC2?

BBC1 = The mirror globe with striped BBC1 logo.
BBC2 = The stylized ==2== introduced in 1979.

My fave was always the one that was 'lifted' and used regularly on skits on Monty Python's Flying Circus. You know, the blue spinning globe with the upside down reverse image?

I would have to say the BBC1 striped logo.
